Early this year I made some efforts to revamp my website and decided to bring it to life. I updated the content with some of my recent projects and kind of left it as is. Initially I was planning to publish something as a “blog post” every week, I even created an Instagram and started posting pictures with day numbers as hashtags. Instagram just wasn’t for me and I deleted the account after publishing around ten photos.
Am I starting from zero again? No. So here we are, 22 more days to new year and I am releasing a new version of the website. Let’s call it “An Early New Year’s Resolution”.
As you may have noticed, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury is chosen as the picture for the home page. I took this picture back in 2013 when the book was displayed in The New York Public Library. There is just something unique about that book, it is different.
I end this post with one of the inspiring quotes from the book:
It doesn’t matter what you do, he said, so long as you change something from the way it was before you touched it into something that’s like you after you take your hands away. The difference between the man who just cuts lawns and a real gardener is in the touching, he said. The lawn-cutter might just as well not have been there at all; the gardener will be there a lifetime.
